It's snowing a lot today. My sister is despairing (she hates the snow and cold).

Title: The Hidden Crime
Author: [livejournal.com profile] kurainokoori
Rating: R due to some disturbing imagery
Genre: Horror
Words: 453 words
Author's note: I wrote this for a class two years ago and have now cleaned it up slightly. We were supposed to write horror stories and the teacher found mine rather disturbing. And it's disturbing.
Summary: I don't know how I got here. I am past memory, past self, all that remained was this and the sickening smell.
( I don’t know how I got here. There’s a smell, a stench, like that of rotting meat; an almost sweet scent that makes you want to vomit. Somehow I know that this stench is coming from me and I do not dare to open my eyes. )

I think most of us cursed enough to make a sailor blush this morning when we looked out the window. The world was covered in snow! Again!

But it's melting away very quickly... thank gods for small favours!

So, [livejournal.com profile] notemeetsletter started up again. And I stressed like hell to get this entry done. But it seems like the community swiftly died again, because there has been no words from the mods since the fifteenth, I think. Challenge end was sixteenth.

Also I'm a tiny bit upset that they have not updated the challenge winners with one of my wins.

Better late than never, I suppose... wrote this several weeks ago for another [livejournal.com profile] imagination500 challenge.

Now I need to return to working on my essay about Machiavelli, which is not progressing at all and I'm supposed to turn it in this Thursday XD Luckily I have tomorrow off as well!

Happy Valentine's Day, folks :D This fic has nothing at all to do with this day XD

Title is, in my opinion, a rather obvious reference to the poem by the same name by Robert Frost.

Title: Fire and Ice
Fandom/Original: Original apocalyptic universe
Genre: Gen
Characters: The Artist (unnamed OC)
Prompt: [livejournal.com profile] imagination500 #201: There is a apocalyptic disaster happening where your character lives and a "life boat" is being made for survivors. The government is choosing who is "worthy" to be included and who is not. Is your character one of the worthy ones? How do they feel about being included? Conversely, if they aren't, how do they feel about not being included? Perhaps, they're the one that has the make the decision. How does that affect them?
